Clayton’s Bakery & Deli offers fresh-made baked goods using recipes from St. Louis’ earliest history. Owner Bill Clayton has 20 years of baking experience in the St. Louis, Missouri area, having worked in some of St. Louis’ best restaurants and bakeries and under many fine pastry chefs. Today, he brings to you the Old St. Louis baking style that existed back when immigrants from Europe first came to this city. The Deli portion of the bakery serves hearty sandwiches made with the finest meats and cheeses and fresh-baked bread right from the bakery. Below you will find a sampling of the Old St. Louis Style goodies Clayton’s Bakery & Deli has to offer.
